1. Who we are

Small Tools Desk (“we”, “us”) operates the website smalltoolsdesk.com and provides free utility tools. You can reach us any time at hello@smalltoolsdesk.com.

2. The short version

• Most of our tools run entirely in your browser. We don't see your inputs.
• We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google may use cookies to personalise ads.
• We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which tools are used. No personal profiling.
• We never sell your data. We never ask for accounts, names, or phone numbers unless a tool needs it (e.g. the contact form).

3. What we collect, and why

3a. Things that stay on your device

When you use a tool, for example the Bulk QR Generator, CGPA Calculator, or Pincode Finder, your inputs and outputs stay in your browser. They are never sent to our servers. If a tool stores preferences (like your last CGPA scale), it does so in your browser's local storage and you can clear it any time.

3b. Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, page visited, timestamp) for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes. We do not link these logs to any identity.

3c. Contact form

When you email us or use our contact form, we collect the email address and message you send. We use it only to reply to you and keep a record of correspondence. We delete contact records after 24 months unless ongoing.

4. Cookies and similar technology

We use a few categories of cookies and storage:

• Strictly necessary, to make the site function (for example, remembering theme).
• Analytics, to count visits and understand which tools are useful. Aggregated only.
• Advertising. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads. You can opt out at Google Ads Settings.

5. Advertising disclosure (Google AdSense)

We participate in Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet. 6. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), the EU GDPR, and similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, and erase any personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, write to us at hello@smalltoolsdesk.com. We respond within 30 days.

7. Children

Our tools are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We serve the entire site over HTTPS. Tool computations happen in your browser, so your inputs aren't exposed in transit. We follow industry-standard practices to protect the limited data we store.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes are highlighted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
