Chipotle Nutrition Calculator
Build your Chipotle order one ingredient at a time and watch the calories, protein, carbs, fat, and sodium update with every choice. Copy the breakdown to share or save.
Approximate values from Chipotle's public reference. Actual servings can vary by location and the person scooping.
How to use it
- 1Pick a base. Bowl and salad have no calories from the vessel itself. Burrito, tacos, and quesadilla shells add a meaningful chunk.
- 2Pick one protein, then add rice, beans, salsas, and toppings. Salsas and toppings are multi-select.
- 3Watch the totals on the right. Tap Copy order to share your build with a friend or save it for later.
About this tool
Chipotle is famous for letting you build your meal exactly how you want it. The trade-off is that nutrition can swing wildly between two seemingly similar bowls. A bowl with rice, beans, double meat, cheese, sour cream, and guac is a different food from a bowl with lettuce, fajitas, salsa, and chicken.
This calculator gives you instant feedback on every choice. The running totals on the right help you tweak your order before you even open the app. Copy your favourite build and paste it back the next time you order.
Frequently asked
Where do these numbers come from?
From Chipotle's published nutrition reference for the United States menu. They reflect typical serving sizes used in the company's standard recipe. Numbers are rounded to the nearest whole calorie or gram.
Why is my actual order's calories sometimes different?
Because the person at the line scoops by hand. A heavy hand on rice or guac can add 100 calories to a bowl easily. These numbers are a fair estimate for a standard portion.
How do I lower the sodium without changing the order much?
Skip the rice or pick brown rice over white, drop the salsa for a lower-sodium one (green tomatillo is the lowest), skip the chips on the side, and ask for half the cheese. You can shave 800 to 1000 mg without losing much of the bowl.
What is the highest-protein build?
A bowl with double chicken or steak, black beans, fajita vegetables, salsa, and lettuce gets you about 70 grams of protein for around 600 calories. Skip the rice if you are watching carbs.
Does this work for Chipotle India?
Chipotle does not currently operate in India. The numbers reflect United States stores. If you visit Chipotle in the US, UK, France, Germany, or the Middle East, the recipes are similar enough to use this as a guide.
Is there a vegan or vegetarian option?
Yes. Sofritas (a tofu-based protein) is vegan. With sofritas, beans, salsas, fajita vegetables, and guacamole, you get a complete vegan bowl. Cheese, sour cream, and queso are vegetarian.
